AYE Parish Banners
All of the UK parishes are producing banners made by their young people which will hang in their church to remind parishioners that AYE is fast approaching. These will then be brought to AYE and displayed for the week of the festival to represent each parish in the Anglo-Scottish province. We hope that they will show the rich diversity of our province and of course some artistic flare!
St John Stone's and Sacred Heart's, Southport
The young people of the parishes in Southport have completed their banner. It names both churches served by the Augustinians in the area, the young people who are involved in preparing for AYE and it has pictures of The Beatles who grew up locally, the beach and Superlamb Bananas (if you don't know what they are then Google them!)

St. Joseph's, Edinburgh
The parish banner from our Scottish contingents got off to a start by some of the parish youth in Edinburgh. It represents all things Scottish but you'll have to wait to see the full piece of art at AYE. Is that Nessie I see making an appearance?
St. Augustine's, Hammersmith
The young people of St. Augustine's parish in Hammersmith started working on their banner that will represent them at AYE. A striking and colourful patch-work effect represents the young people by each square being very different. Great job guys!
St Monica's, London
The young people of St. Monica's, East London gathered to start work on their banner and had some great ideas and great fun. Their banner will be a constant representation of St. Monica's parish at AYE and we hope that you are there to see it!
